Multi-Camera Specialist | Based in New Zealand
With over a decade of hands-on experience in multi-camera production, I bring a proven track record of delivering polished, international-standard content on time and under pressure. From my early days operating on MasterChef to leading numerous high-profile reality and factual entertainment series, I have evolved into one of New Zealand’s foremost multi-camera Directors of Photography.
My approach combines strong visual storytelling instincts with meticulous preparation. I believe a successful shoot begins well before the cameras roll. In pre-production, I collaborate closely with producers and creatives to grasp the editorial goals and develop flexible shot plans that guarantee both efficiency and visual impact on set. I take pride in my ability to communicate clearly with both crew and production, ensuring alignment, speed, and quality from the first frame to the final shot.
I’ve had the privilege of shaping the look of shows like Traitors NZ (Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ), Cooks on Fire (TVNZ), The Apprentice Aotearoa (TVNZ), Tracked (Discovery Max), and Hoff Roading (Discovery ANZ). Each production has deepened my understanding of how to create compelling multi-camera coverage, whether it’s fast-paced action in the wilderness or dynamic reality content in a studio setting.
Over the years, I have built strong working relationships with top-tier New Zealand crews, including seasoned multi-camera operators, drone pilots, gimbal technicians, lighting teams, and grip departments. I thrive in fast-paced environments and possess experience ranging from observation-style setups to complex rigging for moving shots, utilising Techno Cranes and remote systems.
Filming in New Zealand not only offers stunning landscapes but also boasts a highly capable local crew and infrastructure. I’m passionate about showcasing our talent and delivering a visually rich, production-ready result that meets and exceeds the expectations of an international audience.
